Field Trip to Cappadocia
Under the theme of ‘Regenerative Urbanism’, METU MUD 2018-2019 Spring Studio made the field trip to Cappadocia, the area of the design research project. Within the four-day program, the studio group visited the major settlements of the area including Avanos, Göreme and Uçhisar. In accordance with the design theme, the group tended to understand the peculiar condition of the settlements formed by its special contextual factors.
