METUDSYMP2016 has ended up with the publication of the proceeding book edited by Olgu Çalışkan and Eren Efeoğlu. The book contains the papers in the form of extended abstracts presented in METU International Symposium on Urban Design in October 4-6, 2016. With thirty-five papers involved, the book suggests a holistic perspective to the contemporary urban design practice, education and research as initially intended in the beginning of the symposium.
