The design works of 2018-19 Spring term METU Master of Urban Design Studio is online at ISSUU now. Under the overarching theme of ‘Regeneratıve Urbanism’, the studio presents four urban projects suggest a series of design codes responsive to the characteristic historical and cultural context of Uçhisar, Avanos, Göreme the major settlements in Cappadocia. The originality of the studio is derived from the methodological perspective considering the generative role of the different design agents (i.e. water, activity pattern, image, network) to be involved into the future scenarios of the cities.
